1. In the Membership dropdown menu, select Become a Member

2. On the Become a Member/Renew Membership page, select the Join BCBA button under the applicable membership category.

3. Fill out the form, noting the required fields.

4. At the bottom of the form, select your payment option. The first box represents the Membership Category you selected. Underneath that you can choose to pay online or pay by check. After making your selection, click the Continue to Payment button.

5. After selecting Continue to Payment, you will have the following payment options:

5a. If you select Pay with PayPal or PayPal Credit you will directed to log into your PayPal account using your PayPal email and password. From there you will finish the check-out process.

5b. If you select Pay with Debit or Credit Card, you will be directed to a pop up window. The popup window contains two options. One to enter your email address and hit next (best method), or 2) to click on the Pay with Debit or Credit Card. Both will lead you to the same checkout screen.

If you selected the Pay with Credit Card/Debit card button, it brings you to a screen that prompts you for you email address, but it says “Create a PayPal account”. This is misleading as you will not be creating a PayPal account. You can fill in your email address and select “Continue to Payment”.

6. On the final checkout screen, enter your credit card information and be sure to deselect the option to create a PayPal account if you do not wish to do so. 

7. At the bottom of the screen, be sure to toggle OFF the Create my PayPal account option. When you do, you will notice the Pay button changes from “Create Account and Pay Now” to simply “Pay Now”.

 

 9. After you finish paying for your membership, you will be redirected back to the BCBA website, where you can finish filling out your Membership Profile.

The four profile tabs include About, Other, Aspirational and Profile. At the bottom of each screen is a blue Save & Continue button or Skip.

OTHER TAB: Select your practice areas. Visitors will be able to search the Lawyer Directory by practice area and town.

On the Profile Tab, you can choose to be listed in the Lawyer Directory or if you do not which your street address to be shown.

11. You  will receive an email from BCBA containing your Member Profile login and password. To access your Member Profile, go to Membership – My Account.
